Parts pickup

Rode the sled from work to Manteca for gear pickup. I took the freeways from Rancho Cordova and having a lane splitter makes the difference between a long night or not.

Back at it

I went from riding the Goldwing to Hell of riding the Goldwing. I haven’t been active on this blog for damn near a year.

As of now I’ve been riding to work every day non-stop under all weather conditions.

Getting colder and racing!

The temp this morning was around 41 degrees. It’s a little chilly but not too bad. I didn’t even turn in the heater grips or seat.

I had a spirited cat and mouse chase game on the country side twisted roads. A VW Golf GTI wanted to see if I could keep up and the fun began.

Let’s in the end the V-Dub pulled over to the side of the road and rolled down his windows and gave me the sweeping arm gesture to allow me to pass on by.

I’ll be 60 next year and I still can’t resist a friendly competition on the roadways.

Trunk & Bag Liners..

I started looking at the different trunk and bag liners. I wanted something that was close to a form fit as possible.

I had purchased a set for my 2007 GL1800 and thought I had given the new owner the liners when I sold the bike. As it turns out, I kept the liners and saved a little coin purchasing replacement liners.

I’ll probably only use these Honda OEM liners when we are out traveling and having to do an overnighter. My daily liners will be a non-branded canvas bag that was designed for a saddle bag container size.
