This at a steady 1 second drip intervals. This was a big mistake in my part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I looked at the original O-ring and determined it was in good shape. I didn\u2019t even remove it from the cover. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The problem wasn\u2019t removing the cover it was reinstalling back in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I reinstalled the cover with the new DCT filter the original ring must have gotten damaged during the insertion process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"525\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/glcruzn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/1-4-768x1024.jpg?resize=525%2C700&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-728\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/glcruzn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/1-4.jpg?resize=768%2C1024 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/glcruzn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/1-4.jpg?resize=225%2C300 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/glcruzn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/1-4.jpg?w=1024 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I ordered the parts from WingStuff. That\u2019s my go to online store. I would say anything you can possibly need for Goldwing maintenance will be available at their online store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The O-ring I purchased has a different part number than that is listed on the Goldwing official service manual. In fact the part shipped from WingStuff is better than the original in my honest opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The alternate O-ring part is slightly less in diameter size and seems to be thicker in material.
