The Gann Rd. fire is currently active and torching everything in its way. This fire started by a jackass guy using power tools to cut metal started the fire that is only 3-4 miles from our house. To make matters worse the fool had a previous arrest back in 2018 for starting a fire that was not on his property.
Even though the sky had a canopy of smoke you couldn’t actually smell the smoke since the wind was carrying the smoke away along with the fire, it is heading East.
I’ve taken many photographs at the Pardee Lake lookout point. I think this is the first time during a nearby fire. Not a good look at all.
The fire kept on growing, the fire fighters stopped the growth around 10,300 acres. At one point a “state of emergency” was issued to fund the ongoing fire fight.
